QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is gearing up to kick off the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) with an exciting and energetic Online Zumba session on September 1st.
This will be open to all government officials, employees, and their families who are 18 years old or older.
To secure a spot in the Online Zumba session, interested individuals can register through the link provided at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1VB-LmR2VLj2nBlVZfe_qcsNj0mryKzXO from August 1st to August 25th. There is a participation fee of PHP 250 per participant, which will go towards supporting the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani program.
This program provides financial assistance and scholarships to the families of government workers who lost their lives while on duty, honoring their dedication and sacrifice.
By participating in the event, not only will the participant be able to enjoy an exhilarating Zumba workout from the comfort of their own home, but will also be making a meaningful contribution to a noble cause.
The proceeds from the Online Zumba session will help support the families of fallen heroes in the government sector, ensuring that their legacy lives on and their loved ones are taken care of.
In a unique partnership, the CSC has also joined forces with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) to create a memorable experience for participants through select movies.
Registered participants will have exclusive access to a curated selection of films via the FDCP channel (https://fdcpchannel.ph) throughout the month of September.
The three movies that will be screened are "Edward" directed by Thop Nazareno, "Mañanita" directed by Paul Soriano, and "Retirada" directed by Cynthia Cruz-Paz and Milo Paz.
