Leading the orientation is Engr. Patrick Jiorgen U. Hulipas, National President of Radio Engineering Circle, Inc. Engr. Hulipas tackled specific topics pertaining to radio use such as: the policies governing the use of amateur radio; classes of amateur privileges and technical regulations, technical regulations during emergency; applications, permits and licenses; rules governing operation of amateur stations, introduction to amateur radio and amateur rules and regulations.
In order to show her support, Calapan City Mayor Marilou F. Morillo graced the activity, in her message, the mayor underscored the importance of proper use of radio communication. She further added, a radio is an effective means in conveying and delivering important messages especially in times of untoward incidents and calamities.
At present there are 29 official licensed members of the Radio Engineering Circle Mindoro under the leadership of concurrent President Engr. Willy Napoles. (JJGS/PIA MIMAROPA - Oriental Mindoro)
