LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (PIA) -- Philippine National Police- Special Action Force Director PMGen. Rudolph Dimas highlighted the significance of the Philippine Flag when he served as the distinguished visitor of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-Cor) during its Flag Raising Ceremony at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa here on Monday, August 14.
 
In his message to the men and women of PRO-Cor, he  said  the flag  is a testament of their commitment to serve and protect the people. It also symbolizes the spirit of unity, patriotism, and hope.

"Our flag is more than just a piece of cloth, it is a powerful emblem that embodies the values and aspirations of our nation. It is a symbol of our history, our struggles, and our triumphs. It represents the sacrifices made by countless individuals who have fought for our freedom and the principles we hold very dear," Dimas underlined.
 
He  added that the flag is also a reminder that "we are part of something larger than ourselves, a diverse and vibrant nation built on the foundations of democracy and human rights."

The Philippine flag is also a symbol that reminds us of our shared responsibility to uphold the values that make our nation great, and that despite our individual journey, we are all bound by common purpose, to build a better future for ourselves and generations to come.

"Let this be a reminder of the power we hold as individuals to effect positive change. Let it serve as a reminder of our shared purpose and the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. Let it inspire us to work together to embrace diversity and to build a nation that is just, compassionate, and inclusive," he urged.

"Let us strive to protect the freedoms and rights that our flag represents and to ensure that they are preserved for future generations," he added.
 
Dimas   said  the flag raising ceremony is also a call for every personnel to stand tall, to be proud of the nation, and to work tirelessly towards a brighter and more prosperous future.

The Igorot SAF  director  encouraged  the PNP personnel to be active and rally citizens to work together towards the betterment of the nation.
