SM City Cauayan joins DepEd's Brigada Eskwela kick off

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - The SM City Cauayan management and employees have joined the 2023 Brigada Eskwela kick off of the Department of Education as show of support to the education department for the benefit of the learners.

SM City Cauayan Public Relations Manager Krystal Gayle Agbulig said the mall management is dedicated to help the education department in its area of operations seeing that the need to prepare the school facilities is necessary for the comfort of the learners to study come start of classes on August 29, 2023.

Agbulig said the mall security guards share their time and resources as they went to Cauayan South Central School and cleaned as well as conducted re-painting some of the school buildings. 

She said some of the mall employees also went to SM’s adopted school particularly at San Fermin Elementary School and conducted also the cleaning and revitalizing the school building by painting that was donated by SM Foundation Incorporated in the said school in Cauayan City.

“Through these efforts, SM City Cauayan has exemplified the true spirit of volunteerism and community service. These initiatives are a testament to SM’s dedication to education and their firm belief in the power of volunteerism. By engaging their employees in community service, SM City Cauayan strive to nurture a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility among their team members,” Agbulig said.

The Brigada Eskwela serves as a platform for collaboration not only SM but all sectors in the community aimed at restoring school facilities before the the classes will start.
