CAMIGUIN (PIA)--Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to community service, the Camiguin Water Company (CWC) stepped up to support the Brigada Eskwela 2023 initiative.
On August 18, 2023, CWC, under the leadership of General Manager Jonathan C. Sarsonas, extended its assistance to Sagay Central School (SCS) and Eulalio U. Pabillore National High School (EUPNHS), contributing to the success of the nationwide school maintenance and preparation campaign.
With a mission to provide excellent service to the community, CWC took direct action to secure water accessibility and availability for the two educational institutions. The company's team of experts repaired water pipes and detected leakages in the vicinity, ensuring that students and staff alike would have consistent access to clean and safe water.
Elaine J. Licame, school principal of SCS, and Verlyn T. Geñoso, school principal of EUPNHS, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable support provided by Camiguin Water Company. They said CWC's contribution played a pivotal role in the accomplishments of Brigada Eskwela 2023, aligning perfectly with this year's theme, "Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan" (Community Unity for Strong Schools).
The collaborative effort between CWC and the educational institutions is a testament to the power of partnerships in promoting education and community welfare. Through their proactive involvement in initiatives like Brigada Eskwela, CWC reaffirms its role as a responsible corporate citizen, dedicated to uplifting the quality of education and living for the people of Camiguin.
As the new school year unfolds, CWC extends its heartfelt wishes to all students for a productive and enriching academic journey. "With our continued commitment to community development, CWC remains a beacon of support for education and progress in Camiguin," Sarsonas said. (RTP/PIA-10/Camiguin)
