BP writing workshop capacitates FCAs, YFC awardees

ILOILO CITY (PIA) -- The Department of Agriculture (DA) Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) 6 held earlier this month several workshops to equip effective business proposals writing skills among Farmer Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) and Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) awardees.

DA-WV AMAD 6 Senior Agriculturist Rhea Cristina G. Resol served as resource speaker for the Breakout Session A, featuring the revised implementation guidelines of the KADIWA Financial Grant Assistance Program through the Memo Circular 2022 series of 2023.

Resol also introduced other essential documentary prerequisites for accessing the KADIWA financial grant to the participants.

Meanwhile, DA-WV AMAD Agriculturist II Karen L. Mijares led the Breakout Session B, sharing the concept of the YFC Upscale.

Mijares imparted the purpose of business proposal workshops and YFC-specific planning, which was furthered by other resource persons Eleazar Carmen, highlighting the tips on delivering an impactful pitch; and Bengie Panes, who shared some insights on crafting visually-engaging presentations.

The 2023 Business Proposal Workshop is an initiative of the DA-AMAD 6, aiming to capacitate with vital tools and knowledge, particularly on enhanced business insights and skills for the growing group of agricultural entrepreneurs that may propel agricultural innovation in the region.
