The BPBH Program is a package of livelihood support designed to offer immediate relief and a fresh start to returning OFWs facing distress or displacement.

The program provides varying amounts of financial assistance based on membership status: active OWWA member: P20,000 (maximum amount); inactive OWWA member with more than 1 membership: P10,000; inactive OWWA member with 1 membership: P5,000.

Mayor Elpidio Rendon personally attended the awarding of checks to the beneficiaries.

In early July this year, the OWWA also spearheaded a business seminar orientation for distressed OFWs under the BPBH program to capacitate them on the technical know-how of business management. (MDCT/PIA Cagayan)
