TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) - - The City Government of Tuguegarao, led by Mayor Maila Ting-Que, has recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) to establish a condominium complex that will surely benefit almost a thousand homeless families in the city.
The said housing project, implemented by the DHSUD, is under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH), which is the flagship program of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s administration.
The proposed condominium complex in Tuguegarao City consists of four 12-storey buildings, all of which are expected to accommodate 935 local families including individuals who do not have yet a home of their own.
Earlier, the municipalities of Iguig and Lallo in Cagayan have also signed memorandums of agreement with the DHSUD in order to implement the government’s socialized housing program within their localities.
On the other hand, in Cauayan City, Isabela, the establishment of the 4PH condominium complex there has already commenced since its ground-breaking ceremony in January this year.
