"Yung proceeds kasi nito, pupunta sa Pamanang Lingkod Bayan. This is a fund para dun sa mga naiwang pamilya ng mga public servants na namatay in line of duty," Tamondong said.

The CSC-CAR will also conduct a medical mission for  Persons Deprived of Liberty on Sept.  12, bloodletting activity on Sept.  21, and government online career fair on Sept.  18 to 22.

A Human Resource  symposium will also be conducted for HR personnel s towards the end of  the month, Tamondong added.

Other activities include regional recognition rites on Sept.  29 and Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Loyalty Awards.

Tamondong said that they also continue to provide fundamental services which are now easier to access, thanks to technologies.

Applications for the Civil Service Examination are now available in the Cordillera, but applicants still need to go to field offices to submit their applications.

"Ang maganda lang kasi doon is nale-lessen natin 'yung errors doon sa pagkuha ng information about their name, date of birth,  mga gayan. Na-improve natin ang accuracy ng data management," Tamondong said.

The CSC-CAR also  now offers online trainings  which are  beneficial to participants, especially those who  have  to  travel from far places.

The CSC-CAR continues to contribute to better civil service through learning and development interventions such as the Basic Customers Service and Skills Training, Values Orientation Workshops, adjudication of cases, among others, Atty. Kathy Olaño of the CSC-CAR Anti-Red Tape Unit added. (JDP/DEG-PIA CAR)
