MOU for Isabela's BIDA program signed

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) - Isabela and some civil society organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the implementation of Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) program in Isabela. 

DILG-Isabela Provincial Director Engr. Corazon Toribio emphasized the importance of collaborative action in the prevention of illegal drug proliferation in the province.

“The signing of the MOU represents a groundbreaking moment in the government’s anti-drug campaign through the BIDA program. It reflects the government’s intensified effort and commitment in addressing the ongoing battle against illegal drugs,” Toribio said.

She also expressed the vital role and the invaluable support of the stakeholders, advocacy groups and community-based organizations in the program. 

 The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Isabela, Citizen Crime Watch (CCW) – Isabela, Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT), Advocacy Support Group and Force Multipliers and the Department of Education (DepEd) joined the MOU signing.
