CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The P5 million-worth newly-completed Business One-Stop-Shop one-story building in the town of Naguilian was recently inaugurated by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Director Agnes Del Leon and DILG Isabela Provincial Director Engr. Corazon Toribio. 

The said completed building was funded through the award received by LGU Naguilian as a 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance awardee under the leadership of Mayor Juan Capuchino.

The DILG’s SGLG award is given to LGUs that pass the SGLG assessment of the department where the award is intended for LGU projects. 

De Leon led the inauguration and turn over to Mayor Juan Capuchino, witnessed by local officials of the town, as she assured them that the DILG is committed to supporting the LGUs in the region in their pursuit of good governance.

Meanwhile, Mayor Capuchino commended the unwavering support of the DILG, saying the completed building marked a pivotal moment in the municipality’s commitment to promoting a more business-friendly environment.

“We used the funds from our DILG’s SGLG award in the construction of the BOSS building, knowing that faster transactions will help the town propel our economy and help grow our MSME’s businesses,” Capuchino said. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
