Recognizing the potential of this growing industry, DICT also takes this opportunity to assist online freelancers in the Zamboanga Peninsula region. DICT Undersecretary for the ICT Industry Development Jocelle Batapa-Sigue emphasized that they are committed to providing support to Filipino freelancers and making the industry reach greater heights to make the Philippines the fastest growing market for the online freelancing industry in Southeast Asia.
