PNP Tarlac completes 28 personnel training and development

TARLAC CITY (PIA) -- Tarlac Police Provincial Office has completed a total of 28 career schooling and capacity building seminars for its personnel.

This is broken down into 18 for mandatory career schooling training while the remainder for capacity building seminars.

Police Deputy Provincial Director for Administration PLtCol. Romel Santos said this is important in attaining and fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the police to serve and protect the communities.

“We are determined to continuously improve the skills and abilities of our personnel for them to become more effective in accomplishing their tasks through training and seminars,” Santos said.

In partnership with the local government units in the province, PNP Tarlac acquired assets for its daily operations including 99 motorcycles, 58 mobile cars, 378 handheld radios, 16 mobile radios, and 18 bicycles.

Santos added that underway is the purchasing of body worn cameras to be utilized during operations in order to ensure that procedures are properly documented and followed.

Documentations are essential for investigations and can be used in court as documentary evidence. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
