SSS Visayas West 2 Division Acting Head Angelo O. Blancaver emphasized the need to remind erring employers of their obligation to ensure the welfare of employees is given due attention and in compliance with the law.

He also reminded employers to prioritize the SSS contribution of their employees during the first month of employment so they are assured of the benefits and privileges as provided under the law.

He likewise noted that the SSS numbers could be easily obtained online via the SSS website.

Business establishments are encouraged to visit SSS Antique so they can be given updates on the status of their remittances.

Business owners are also enjoined to check their documents especially if they are designating a third party for the bookkeeping or for paying their contribution with SSS to ensure the remittances are done on time.

Blancaver noted that most employers are positively responding to this RACE operation by complying with the requirements after they were visited by the Team.

On the part of SSS Antique Manager Phillip M. Lucero, he urged the establishments that are subjected to RACE operations to visit the local office so they could be guided on how to settle their accounts.
