40 national, local govt offices to join Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Monkayo

DAVAO DE ORO (PIA) -- More than 40 national government agencies and local government unit offices will converge and provide services in Monkayo, Davao de Oro on September 23-24, 2023 for the launching of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF).

Speaking in the Kapehan sa Dabaw at SM City Davao, lawyer Joy dela Cruz of the BPSF National Secretariat stressed that the caravan is an upgrade of the "unity" being espoused by the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

“Level up siya ng unity in terms na mismong mga services ng gobyerno ay lalapit sa ating mga kababayan para maihatid at maipakilala sa ating mga kababayan ang mga programa at services ng ating gobyerno,”  Dela Cruz said.

More than 41,000 residents of Monkayo and its neighboring towns will avail of the social services, livelihood and education opportunities, regulatory, and other government services.

For social services, the Department of Health, together with the Davao Regional Medical Center and the Municipal Health Office, will deliver a medical outreach program, bloodletting activity, and acupuncture services at the Monkayo Municipal Dome.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in coordination with their local counterpart, will distribute a total of P 81 million financial aid under the Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) to around 31,000 persons.

The Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, 

Atty Joy dela Cruz, national secretariat of the Bagong Pilipiinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), promoted on Monday at the Kapehan sa Dabaw in SM City Davao, the BPSF launching in Monkayo, Davao de Oro on September 23-23, 2023.

Philippine Coconut Authority and Department of Environment and Natural Resources will dispense fertilizers, tilapia fingerlings, hybrid coconut seedlings, and other seedlings, respectively.

The Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Migrant Workers, and the Public Employment Services Office will conduct a Job Fair at Monkayo College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology.

Around 1,000 individuals will avail of the Passport on wheels from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA); and 600 individuals will get and renew their driver’s license from the Land Transportation Office.

Local farmers and producers will also display their products in the Diskwento Caravan organized by the Department of Trade Industry, and Kadiwa ng Pangulo.

Various government agencies met in Monkayo for the final coordination meeting of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair.

Other government agencies, who will provide services are Department of Agrarian Reform, Commission on Higher Education, Department of Science and Technology, Office of Civil Defense, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Food and Drug Administration, Philippine National Police, Professional Regulatory Commission, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Statistics Authority, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Social Security System, Home Mutual Development Fund / PAG-IBIG, Government Service Insurance System, Public Attorney’s Office, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Department of Information and Communication Technology, Department of Education, Philippine Army, National Food Authority, Department of the Interior and Local Government and several local government department.
