Anticipated growth in these numbers is expected following the two-day event.

Camarines Sur 5th District Congressman Miguel ‘Migz’ Villafuerte expressed his elation on his Facebook account, expressing his appreciation for being selected as the host of this grand event.

“We are glad to host the Regional Launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair! Over 40 agencies in one roof! Maghahandog ng iba’t ibang serbisyo ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno mula AICS, TUPAD, medical and health services, passport services, licence and ID renewals, farmer assistance, at maraming-marami pang iba. Kita-kits po tayo sa CSPC, Nabua sa September 23-24, 2023,” the legislator said in his Fb post.

The BPSF will give opportunities to Camarinenses to access government services for free and will serve as a platform for participating agencies to showcase their programs and initiatives.

Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Camarines Sur OIC and Supervising Statistical Specialist Raul Aspe also expressed his enthusiasm to share their innovations to their clients and the BPSF will be an added avenue where they can convey their aspiration to “become a world-class organization.”

“The PSA grows, its men and women grow with it, and over the years as we keep on striving, for better and for a brighter future for every Filipino," Aspe said.

He further stated in an interview with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) that "we grow with you in our objective and aspiration to become a world-class organization for all. Thank you very much for being part of this process in every step of the way."

Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Director Pat Felizmenio also presented the programs and services they had in store during the BPSF launch.

DOST has prepared programs for students, MSMEs, OFWs, associations, and Local Government Units, among others.

“One of the programs we want to highlight is the flagship programs of DOST, the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SET-UP) which is a nationwide strategy to encourage and assist SMEs to adopt technological innovations to improve their operations and thus boost their productivity and competitiveness,” Felizmenio said.

For pre-identified clients, they will be giving away agricultural equipment like hauling trucks, 4-wheel drive tractors, and combine harvesters.

“We have set up a DA booth and Kadiwa ng Pangulo at CSPC but the bulk of the distribution of our services will be at the Nabua National High School which is just beside the CSPC,” Guarin added.

The PSA, DA, and DOST are just three among the more than 40 government agencies set to partake in the BPSF launch scheduled for this Saturday. (PIA 5)
