P292.5M gov’t services poured in Davao de Oro Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair

DAVAO DE ORO (PIA) -- The two-day Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) starting today is expected to pour a total of P292,507,616.42 national government services for around 47,300 beneficiaries in Davao de Oro.

Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, who is the guest of honor and speaker in today's BPSF in Davao de Oro, cited this as a strategy of President Ferdinand Marcos R. Marcos Jr. to fast-track the delivery of government services and to bring government services closer to the people.

She also highlighted the BPSF as a “crucial step towards achieving bureaucratic” access to government services as these are made available to all.

First to have visited Davao de Oro and seldom on grassroots engagements, Pangandaman grasped the reality of service delivery of the government programs and projects that DBM had approved.

“At least nakikita po namin sa aming department na nakakarating po hanggang pinakababa ang mga proyektong at programa,”she said.

She made the audiences understand that the united effort of all national line agencies to come together, hauling services under one roof, is a way of fulfilling a government’s vision that “we are all united to attain a principled, accountable and dependable government.”

Meanwhile, Davao de Oro First Congressional District Representative Maria Carmen Zamora considered the Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair hosting of Davao de Oro as “historic.”

Zamora made it clear  that the government services publicly opened for two days in Monkayo, Davao de Oro are intended for the residents of the  11 municipalities of the province.

She lauded the people who availed of the services and cited their act as a manifestation of their trust and confidence to the government. Davao de Oro is the only province in Mindanao which hosted the simultaneous launch of Bagong Pilipinas Service Fair.
