BALER, Aurora (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a covered court project at barangay Obiligacion in Baler, Aurora.
The newly constructed 450-square meter facility was built with a stage that can be used for school programs and barangay events, as it is situated within the premises of Obligacion Integrated School.
DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said the covered court is expected to provide a safer and more convenient venue for numerous activities, benefiting both barangay residents and the school community.
“Teachers and students will enjoy enhanced facilities for their educational and extracurricular pursuits,” he furthered.
“Aurora District Engineering Office remains committed to improving local infrastructure to better serve the needs of the community, and this multipurpose building stands as a testament to that commitment,” Andal pressed.
P6.37 million was allotted for the infrastructure under the 2023 General Appropriations Act. (CLJD-PIA 3)
