LUNGSOD QUEZON (PIA) -- Lumagda ang Department of Education (DepEd) at ang Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) ng Memorandum of Agreement, Lunes, upang makapagbigay ng mas maayos na serbisyo o “ultimate customer experience” sa mga guro at ibang kawani ng kagawaran patungkol sa GSIS.

Ang paglagda sa MOA ay pinangunahan ni DepEd Secretary at Vice President Sara Duterte at GSIS President at General Manager Wick Veloso.

Sa ilalim ng MOA, agad na pasisimulan ng GSIS ang paglikha ng dedicated express lanes sa kanilang Central Office at sa lahat ng branch nito sa buong bans ana eksklusibo para sa mga guro at kawani ng DepEd.

Bukod pa rito, magkakaroon din ng DepEd personnel-specific option sa GSIS online, mga GSIS officers na nakatalagang humawak ng mga account ng mga guro, at dayalogo sa pagitan ng DepEd at GSIS kada taon.

“On behalf of all the teachers and of course, the non-teaching personnel of the Department of Education, we are truly happy that we are able to finalize the MOA for the ultimate customer experience for our teaching and non-teaching personnel,” mensahe ni Vice President Duterte sa ginanap na signing ceremony sa Lungsod ng Pasay.

“DepEd composed more than half of the entire GSIS membership. That is why we are passionate about pursuing dialogues in coming up solutions to the problems that we see in our school level,” dagdag pa niya.

Sinabi naman ni Chairman Veloso na handa itong makipagtulungan sa DepEd upang pagandahin ang customer experience ng ating mga guro.

"Under the leadership of our Secretary of Department of Education and Vice President, we are confident that constant interaction with your team will allow us to deliver the promise of a better life not only for the teachers, but also for the rest of the Filipinos," sinabi ni Veloso.

Plano rin ng GSIS na lumikha ng programa na makakapagbigay ng medical insurance sa mga guro, ayon kay GSIS Chairman Veloso.

Ang pakikipagtulungan sa GSIS ay isang mahalagang hakbang sa MATATAG Agenda ng DepEd upang lalo pang masuportahan ang mga guro at kawani sa kanilang mga pangangailanan at pagtugon sa mga hamon sa edukasyon.(PIA-NCR)
