CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) bestowed the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to five Department of Education Schools Division Offices (SDOs), a water district, and a line agency provincial office.
Recipients include Aurora, Pampanga, Balanga City, Cabanatuan City, and City of San Fernando SDOs; Baliwag Water District; and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Pampanga Office.
CSC Commissioner Aileen Lourdes Lizada said being conferred with the PRIME-HRM (Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management) Bronze Award means the awardees reached Maturity Level II in one of the four core HRM systems set by commission including recruitment, selection and placement; performance management; learning and development; and rewards and recognition.
In her message, Lizada congratulated the agency-awardees and their employees for consistently demonstrating exceptional performance, dedication, and integrity in their public service roles.
“I know that it is a collective effort and you all worked hard to institute necessary reforms in HR systems and processes to not only comply with the PRIME-HRM requirements, but also to put respective agencies and offices on the map of HRM excellence in the country,” she stressed.
The commissioner added that their commitment to transformative HRM programs enabled an environment that promotes efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
With this, she challenged the PRIME-HRM recipients to continue striving for excellence, to be role models, and to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
“I also call on my fellow civil servants to continue living with utmost responsibility, integrity, competence, and loyalty; act with patriotism and justice; lead modest lives; and uphold public interest over personal interest – our core mandate as civil servants under the 1987 Philippine Constitution,” Lizada said.
Meanwhile, she assured that the commission will also strive to continue being champions of positive change for every lingkod bayani, citing that by encouraging government agencies to adopt best practices and innovative approaches, CSC is securing the trust given to it by committed civil servants.
