QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Nineteen streets in the National Capital Region (NCR) that were closed by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on weekend for reblocking and repairs were reopened to motorists on Monday, October 2.

In the notice earlier sent by the MMDA, it said the road repairs and reblocking that  started at 11:00 pm on Friday, September 29, ended at 5:00 am Monday.

Among the reopened roads are:

• C-5 Road (northbound) Lane 2, in Pasig City;
• C-5 to Korean Embassy (southbound 3rd lane, Makati City;
• C-3 Road (eastbound), between C. Cordero to Rizal Ave. (4th lane from the sidewalk), Caloocan City;
• C-3 Road (eastbound) , between Rizal Avenue to M. H. Del Pilar St. (3rd lane from the sidewalk), Caloocan City;
• EDSA (northbound), between Don Vicente Ang to Gen. Evangelista (2nd lane from the sidewalk), Caloocan City; 
• EDSA Taft Avenue (northbound) at MRT Station (2nd lane), Pasay City.
• Taft Avenue and the corner of Pedro Gil St. are also included. (3rd lanes for northbound and southbound), Manila City;
• EDSA (southbound) after Malibay Bridge (Outer lane), Pasay City; Mindanao Avenue (southbound), after the U-Turn towards and after the Mindanao Avenue Tunnel, (1st and 3rd lanes from the center and service road, outer Lane), Quezon City;
• A. Bonifacio Ave. (northbound), corner of Sgt. Rivera Street (1st lane between the sidewalk), Quezon City;
• Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), B. Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (1st lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City;
• Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (6th lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City.
• C-5 Road (southbound), after Magsaysay Avenue, near the U-Turn Slot, Quezon City; C-5 Road (southbound), after Magsaysay Avenue, Quezon City;
• C-5 Road (southbound), after C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection, Quezon City; Commonwealth Avenue (southbound), from Shell Gas Station to Zuzuaregue Street (2nd lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City; Rizal Avenue Exit (northbound), between 11th Avenue and Bustamante St. (2nd lane), Caloocan City;
• C-5 Road, E. Mejia Street near C-5 Service Road on C-5 Service Road near E. Mejia Street, near C-5 Road near Casa Verde, Pasig City and Mc Arthur Highway (northbound), Malabon City. (PIA-NCR)
