QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Muntinlupa City Government through its City Planning and Development Office's (CPDO) signified the city's dedication to progress and sustainable development by holding the 1st Research Colloquium in support of the 21st Development Policy Research Month (DPRM).
The event, graced by Senior Research Fellow from the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) Francis Mark Quimba highlighted the critical intersection of green sustainability and digital innovation.
In his thought-provoking presentation entitled, "Green and Digital: Managing the Twin Transition toward Sustainable Development," Quimba inspired a dialogue that was nothing short of enlightening.
He emphasized the paramount importance of harnessing the twin transition - the simultaneous shift towards a green and digital economy.
"We must prioritize sustainability and leverage the power of technology as we continue to navigate the challenges of the modern world," Quimba urged, echoing a sentiment that resonated with everyone present.
For his part, Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino Biazon special underscored the importance of preparing and city's unwavering commitment to evidence-based policymaking and forward-thinking planning. His words echoed deeply, reaffirming the city's dedication to progress and innovation.
