MANILA, (PIA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) will be hiring more than 6,000 police officers in line with its quota under the PNP 2023 Recruitment Program.
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has approved the recruitment of new police officers. The PNP needs 6,501 additional police personnel.
Based on its recruitment program, the National Capital Region Police Office needs 2,101 new police officers, 600 in Provincial Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and 400 in Region 4A (CALABARZON).
For those who want to apply to be a police officer, some of the requirements are having a college degree and eligibility including the PNP Entrance Examination (NAPOLCOM); Career Service Professional (Civil Service Commission); R.A. No. 1080 (Bar and Board Examination); R.A. No. 6506 (Licensed Criminologist); P.D. 907 (Civil Service Eligibility to College Honor Graduate) and Police Officer Exam (Civil Service Commission).
Male applicants must also be at least 1.57 meters tall and female applicants at least 1.52 meters tall. Applicants must also be between 21-30 years old and have good moral character. (PIA-NCR)
