It received a significant boost from Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor, who has given his full support during the festival.
Among the contributions that Gov. Dolor extended throughout the festivity is the cash prize to the winners of the street dance and in-place dancing competition. Another notable and significant help that the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro extended is the promised P1M financial assistance to one of the school participants, whose population is composed of 80% Mangyans.
Gloria Vice Mayor Rambo Alvarez together with 59th FAC and Kawayanan Festival Chairperson Atty. Mike Ceniza extended their gratitude to the governor for personally gracing the event as well as the extended support he gave during the celebration.
According to Alvarez, the provincial government's unwavering support for the festival is a testament to Dolor's dedication to the province.
