MANILA, (PIA) -- Quezon City has been ranked as the richest city in the Philippines, according to a Commission on Audit (COA) report.
This marks the third consecutive year that the city has claimed the top spot in the list, consistent with previous reports and the most recent release. In 2022, Quezon City reported total assets amounting to P443.406 billion, which represented a slight decline from the P451.007 billion reported in the previous audit year.
Following Quezon City, Makati City secured the second position with total assets of P239.476 billion.

Additionally, Carmona, Cavite emerged as the wealthiest municipality in the country, with total assets reaching P6.522 billion.

Cebu, meanwhile, continues to hold the title of the wealthiest province in the Philippines, with assets totaling P235.738 billion, showing an increase from P215.27 billion in 2021. Batangas and Rizal have also maintained their rankings since 2021.
