MANILA, (PIA) –Aksyon Laban sa Kahirapan, the TV program that airs stories about poverty-alleviation-related initiatives of the government with a focus on their impact on the basic sectors, ultimately increasing awareness of the Social Reform Agenda got an extended airing by adding additional eight (8) more episodes.
The National Anti-Poverty Commission and People’s Television Network Inc. (PTV), represented by NAPC Secretary Lope Santos III and PTV General Manager Analisa Puod, extended their partnership in the airing of NAPC program Akyson Laban sa Kahirapan through the signing of a memorandum of agreement held in Quezon City, October 12.
The memorandum increases the airdates of Aksyon, with eight new episodes airing from October 28 to December 17.
NAPC Vice Chairperson for the Government Sector and Provincial Government of South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Sucayan Tamayo Jr. and NAPC Vice Chairperson for the Basic Sectors Ruperto Aleroza served as witnesses to the memorandum-signing.
Aksyon airs every Saturday from 5:15 PM to 5:45 PM, with replays on Sunday from 2:30 to 3:00 PM. The program is on its 14th episode with a total of 22 by end-season. (napc/pia-ncr)
