Election ballots, returns for 2023 BSKE arrive in Isabela

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) -- The election paraphernalia to include ballots, election returns, and indelible inks for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) arrived here on October 13, 2023. 

Provincial Treasurer Ma. Theresa A. Flores said the election paraphernalia will be turned-over officially and distributed to all municipalities here starting October 17, 2023, while the the three cities and four coastal towns of Isabela have already received the items ahead of the set date of mass distribution.

She assured that the said election paraphernalia are safely kept inside the capitol and will be secured by the Philippine National Police, Provincial Security Group, and some army personnel while stored inside the capitol.

“The election paraphernalia that arrived today will be safely kept inside the capitol and will be guarded by our Provincial Security Group, the police, and military before it will be distributed on October 17, 2023, to the 30 municipalities,” Flores said.

As of today, October 17, 2023, the Provincial Treasury Office turned over the election ballots and returns including the indelible inks to the municipalities through their Municipal Treasurers and assisted by their Comelec officers, respectively.

Recently, the election forms and supplies for the 2023 BSKE, which first arrived last month were already distributed to the cities and municipalities, particularly to the City and Municipal Treasurers in the province. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
