CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Isabela Provincial Office recognized its outstanding stakeholders and partners for the support extended in the implementation of the agency’s programs, projects and activities for the past 10 ten years.
The recognition ceremony was part of the 10th founding anniversary and the of 34th National Statistics Month celebration with the theme “PSA @10: Providing Quality Services through Digital Transformation.”
PSA Isabela Chief Statistical Specialist Julius Emperador said the agency recognized the contribution of stakeholders for their remarkable collaborative efforts in gathering important statistics that the government uses in planning.
“As we look back in the previous ten years, we appreciate the essential assistance and cooperation of our stakeholders. Your commitment has been instrumental in propelling the PSA towards better heights,” Emperador said during the awarding ceremony.
Among the stakeholders which were recognized during the awarding were City Government of Ilagan as outstanding partner in statistical advocacy activities, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist as Most Outstanding Respondent, St. Ferdinand College as Most Outstanding Respondent (Academe Category), Green Future Innovations Inc. as Most Outstanding Respondent (Establishment Category), Santiago City Local Civil Registrar as Most Outstanding Partner in Civil Registration, Isabela Provincial Planning and Development Office as Outstanding partner in statistical advocacy activities, Isabela State University as outstanding partner in statistical advocacy activities (academe), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as outstanding parter in statistical planning, policy, coordination and advocacy activities, Provincial Engineering Office as outstanding partner in statistical planning, policy and coordination, Isabela Police Provincial Office as outstanding partner in statistical planning, coordination and advocacy, Philippine Information Agency - Isabela for media advocacy on PSA activities and programs, and the Local Government Unit of Cauayan as outstanding partner in Philippine Identification System.
PSA Isabela Senior Statistical Specialist Marivic Garcia expressed her gratitude to the awardees requesting their continuous support and involvement to PSA’s future endeavors relative to the mandate of the agency.
She said the PSA acknowledges the individuals and organizations who have shared their time and services for the success implementation of the many programs and initiatives of the agency,
