QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) warns the public to be wary of a ‘Phishing’ scam.

The postal corporation warns the public against fraudulent and illegal attempts by unauthorized groups and/or individuals through text and online messages that use the name of PHLPost.

‘Phishing’ is an illegal way to acquire sensitive data such as personal and financial information by pretending to be a legitimate company or individual via SMS, online messages, calls, and more.

Likewise, the public is reminded to avoid of ‘click bait’ and never share confidential information through your mobile phone or computer.
