Quintilla his message highlighted the importance of an evacuation center especially in times of calamities or disaste, and stressed on the importance of camp management training for effective maintenance of the center.
Mogol congratulated the officials and people of Sabangan for accepting and completing the project, which is in in line with
the goal of OCD to provide all municipalities with their own evacuation centers. He praised lot donor Paticawen and all the officials and the community for their unity in this undertaking.
Sabangan is the fifth out of the ten municipalities of the Mountain Province to have its own evacuation center. The others are Bauko, Bontoc, Paracelis, and Tadian.
Mayor Marcial Lawilao conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to OCD-CAR for in funding the evacuation center. He also thanked DSWD-CAR for their consistent assistance to the municipality even beyond times of calamity. He urged all I- Sabangans to collaborate in maintaining the evacuation center.
Paticawen, meanwhile, stressed that when it comes to development and progress, one should not be selfish so that the different programs of the government will come to the community.
