BOAC, Marinduque (PIA) -- The Provincial Health Office recently conducted an activity coined as “Health Promotion Playbooks Orientation and Planning with Partner Agencies” in pursuit of the goal of ensuring the health and safety of every individual in the island.

The Environmental Health playbook, “Behavioral Nudges for Handwashing” and the Violence and Injury Prevention playbook, titled “Juana be Wais,” guided the initiative which were attended by representatives from local organizations, stakeholders, RHU Health Education Promotion Officer (HEPO) designates, Board Member Bernadine Opis-Mercado and other council members.

Each participant actively listened to discussion and shared recommendations to enhance the implementation of health programs. The commitment of each participant is crucial, reflecting collaborative efforts within the province.

The event was made possible under the leadership of Provincial Health Officer Gerardo Caballes. The coordination with the Provincial DOH office, spearheaded by Dr. Rachel Garcia played a vital role in the success of the engagement activity. (RAMJR/PIA Mimaropa - Marinduque)
