PGLDN opens applications for SPES 2024

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)-- With its commitment to provide opportunities for local students and out-of-school youth (OSY), the provincial government here, through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO), has started accepting applications for the 2024 Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES).

The program is specifically designed for individuals aged 15 to 30 who are students or OSYs and also serves as a platform for skill development and community engagement.

The requirements include two copies of the completed SPES application form, a passport-sized ID picture with a nametag (non-computer generated), the latest grades (semestral for college students and from the last school year or Form 137 for junior or senior high school), a certificate of indigency, and a birth certificate.

SPES Babies applicants, or those who were hired last year and completed or have at least 37–40 days of attendance, need to submit their SPES ID, while OSY applicants must submit their Certificate of OSY from their barangays.

The provincial government encourages all eligible individuals to take advantage of the program and submit their applications at the PESO Office located on the 1st floor of the Provincial Capitol Building on or before January 31, 2024. (LELA/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
