Ifugao PLGU  commends 3 LGUs as Seal of Good Local Governance awardees

LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA)--The  Ifugao provincial government commended the  local government units of Asipulo, Kiangan, and Lagawe for being awardees of the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Governor Jerry Dalipog and Vice Governor Glenn Prudenciano led the awarding of  the Sangguniang Panlalawigan resolution commending the three  local government units for their remarkable achievement, during the  Monday flag ceremony at the Provincial Capitol on  January 15.

SP Resolution No. 2023-659  states that the outstanding achievements and exemplary performance of these SGLG  awardees serve as beacon for other municipal LGUs to emulate.

The three municipalities are among the 401 towns  out of the 1,488 municipalities in the country conferred with the SGLG  last  year. There are 23 LGU-awardees in the Cordillera region.
