CEBU CITY, Cebu, Jan. 18 (PIA) -- To support the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in showcasing their quality yet affordable products, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cebu Provincial Office formally opened the 18th Sinulog Fiesta Fair 2024.
The launching on January 17 at SM Seaside, Cebu City was led by DTI7 Regional Director Maria Elena Arbon along with representatives from the private sector.
The fiesta fair will run from January 17 to 29, which also marks the return of the physical trade fair after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
DTI’s Sinulog Fiesta Fair is an annual event that serves the market development needs MSMEs by providing them with access to a high-traffic commercial space and shopping platform where they can exhibit and sell their products.
The event is also a celebration that honors the skill, passion, and diversity that define Cebu's local products.
This year, the trade fair features 57 exhibitors from 48 MSMEs from different sectors, such as housewares, home decor, fashion accessories, footwear, processed food, cacao, coffee, and the coconut industry.
The exhibitors are beneficiaries of the DTI programs such as One Town, One Product (OTOP), Kapatid-Mentor Me, Shared Services Facilities, and other programs and services.
Most of the participants are from Cebu, while there are also exhibitors from Davao, Iloilo, Negros Oriental, Palawan, and Quezon. (RGC/PIA7 Cebu)
