The Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Station or STARBOOKS is a digital library designed for students who do in-depth research on science and technology resources.

This scholarship is awarded to students with high aptitude in science and mathematics who are committed to pursuing careers in the fields of science and technology.

"I'm very thankful to BARMM, especially the MOST. It is one of our most requested tools. As students kasi, needed namin ang tablet. Since my course is BS Architecture, kailangan talaga ang tablet for taking notes, especially for sketching," shared Ayoub Macadindang.

Sittie Aisah Umpara, a BS Chemistry student from MSU echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the tablet's invaluable contribution to her studies. "Alhamdullillah may natanggap kami na ganito and InshaAllah it will make us strive more in our learning," she said.

This distribution of STARBOOKS, laboratory apparatus, and tablets marks just one of the numerous activities organized by MOST for the weeklong celebration of the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day. The Ministry also offered technology needs assessments for cooperatives and capacity needs assessments for schools interested in availing STARBOOKS until January 26, 2024. (APB/PIA Lanao del Sur)
