SYUDAD SANG ILOILO -- Lauman ang pagbukas sang madamo nga mga trabaho para sa mga Ilonggo matapos sang ginlagdaan nga kasugtanan sang gobyerno probinsyal sang Iloilo kag 10 ka mga buluthuan sa kolehiyo  kag mga industry groups.

Ginpangunahan ni Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. ang paglagda sang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agud mapasanyog ang paghatag sang mga trabaho ilabi na ang pagsolusyon sa unemployment kag underemployment sa probinsya.

Nalakip sa mga nagpaskop nga mga buluthuan amo ang West Visayas State University (WVSU), University of the Philippines in the Visayas (UPV), Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISATU), Iloilo State University of Fisheries, Science and Technology (ISUFST), Northern State University (NISU), University of Iloilo (UI), Central Philippine University (CPU), University of San Agustin (USA), John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU), kag St. Therese – MTC Colleges (STMTCC).

“This is another engagement with our academic institutions in the area of employment. We want to teach our students the direction of the economy and the country,” pahayag ni Defensor.

Sa pihak nga bahin, ang pagpirma sang kasugtanan sang gobyerno probinsyal kaupod ang Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Iloilo Chapter (PCCI), kag People Management Association of the Philippines - Iloilo Chapter (PMAP) nagapatimaan sang panaad sa pagpaalintun sang industry visions and trends, pag-facilitate sang pagbaylohanay sang labor market data, kag pagsabat sang mga kinahanglanon sang industriya.

Para kay Provincial PESO Manager Francisco Heler, Jr., ini magasuporta sang dako nga bahin sang PCCI kag PMAP sa paghugpong sang mga palamugnan nga ginalauman nga magapabaskog man sang serbisyo sang PESO.
