ILIGAN CITY (PIA) -- The city government here facilitated the delivery of government services to Barangay Upper Tominobo through a Serbisyo Caravan as part of the city's initiative to bring services closer to the people.
The caravan brought services such as medical and dental consultations, free animal vaccinations, hair grooming, circumcision services, notarial and legal services, shoe repairs, bolo sharpening, and the distribution of free reading eyeglasses, vegetable seeds, and seedlings, among others.
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the Iligan City Police Office (ICPO), the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, the Social Security System, the Philippine Red Cross, Motivation Philippines, and other offices of the city government provided these services.
Jaymarie Romo is thankful for the caravan, as her child underwent a free circumcision from the ICPO and received free medicines from the City Health Office. She emphasized the importance of such an initiative, especially since private medical services would have been too expensive for them, as they rely solely on her husband's work in construction.

“Dako gyud kaayo ni nga tabang, kaysa mugasto pa mi og plite sa pag-adto sa syudad, unya lisod pa kaayo ang panahon ron [This is a huge help, as we do not have to spend money on transportation to go to the city proper, especially during this difficult time],” she said.
Moreover, Mayor Frederick Siao engaged with some residents to listen to their concerns and problems through the "Isulti kay Freddie" platform. (LELA/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
