BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) -- Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine National Police have seized more than P5.2 million-worth of dried Marijuana bricks.
PDEA Provincial Officer Jojo Gayuma said the illegal drug haul, weighed at 44 kilos, was a result of a buy bust operation in Barangay Tuao in Bagabag town.
“We have also arrested three illegal drug suspects during the operation. This operation is part of our relentless campaign against illegal drugs,” he said.
Police Provincial Director Kamlon Nasdoman said also confiscated from the suspects were P5,280,000, P445,000 in boodle money, three cellular phones, a blue pouch, four paper boxes, a Philhealth ID, and a Nissan Escapade Van with plate number NVI 165.
Governor Jose Gambito has lauded the PNP and PDEA for their successful anti-illegal drug operation.
