ILOILO CITY (PIA6) -- The Social Security System (SSS) has issued notices of violation to 12 employers in this city and Pavia town in Iloilo province for non-compliance with the mandatory provisions of Republic Act No. 11199 or the Social Security Act.

During its Run After Contributions Evaders (RACE) operation on Feb. 19, the agency revealed that the identified businesses, mainly from the food, hotel, and travel industries, have an estimated delinqency obligations of about P5.4 million.

Meanwhile, the SSS pointed out that the operation signifies its commitment to ensuring the social security protection of its members, fulfilling the agency's obligation to uphold the rights of all private employees.
