CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - The Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Provincial Government of Isabela strenghtened the Kadiwa ng Pangulo program at the Capitol Grounds where various affordable agriculture products and basic commodities were made available for local consumers.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo is one of the flagship projects of the administration which is aimed at prioritizing the interests of the vulnerable and marginalized sectors through discounted and affordable high-quality basic commodities. 

Over 30 Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) have joined as a gesture of support to the administration’s Kadiwa ng Pangulo.

DILG Provincial Director Corazon Toribio said the program was launched in the province in October 2023.

She said Isabeleños can avail basic commodities at a cheaper prices.

She further called on Isabeleños to take time and visit the Kadiwa ng Pangulo store at the Bambanti Village in front of the Capitol building.

The program was relaunched recently through the initiative of Isabela Governor Rodito T. Albano III, Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III, Director Toribio of DILG and DTI Isabela OIC-Provincial Director Ramil D. Garcia represented by DTI Isabela Division Chief Elmer A. Agorto and several other guests.

Meanwhile, some employees from the Provincial Government and national government agencies took time to buy agriculture products that are sold at an affordable prizes just after the launching. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
