BANGUED, Abra(PIA) -- Four farmers associations (FAs) in the capital town received  various farm inputs under the High Value Crop Development Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA).

Recipients are  the  Sirmata ti Cabuloan FA, Palao Neighborhood Association, Ubbog-Lipcan Farmers Association and Sta. Rosa Producers’ Association.

Tesoro said that the agriculture intervention was  a part of the rehabilitation efforts for farmers affected by super typhoon Egay last  year.

The governor  also encouraged the farmers to continuously commit themselves in agriculture as the current administration focuses in providing more farm inputs in the locality.
