BALANGA CITY (PIA) -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster innovation and collaboration on various initiatives.
This agreement, signed by DICT Regional Director Antonio Edward Padre and BPSU President Ruby Santos-Matibag, encompasses the promotion and development of initiatives, including student internships, faculty development programs, scholarship grants, research projects, community engagement efforts, seminars, training sessions, recruitment activities, and other potential collaborative endeavors.
Padre highlighted that the MOU will facilitate the exchange of ideas between the agency and the university.
“DICT acknowledges the necessity of aiding Filipino educators, learners, and workers in advancing within the digital economy,” he furthered.
He likewise emphasized that the partnership with BPSU enables them to foster synergy and ignite innovative ideas, laying the groundwork for long-term benefits to the people.
Matibag stressed the significance of the MOU, highlighting its role as a comprehensive blueprint for fostering collaboration across diverse areas.
She underscored that the agreement entails detailed plans for organizing seminars, training sessions, and recruitment activities.
