LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 29 (PIA) – Residents of Laoag City can look forward to new affordable housing options as the first 300 units of the national government's Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program are expected to be completed by August 2024.
Construction of the project is progressing steadily, with developer EL Construction and Development Group Inc. working around the clock to meet the deadline.
Elliot Louis Mcloughlin of EL Construction and Development Group Inc., the developer of the housing project, said construction of the project is progressing steadily as they are working around the clock to meet the deadline.
“All is in the process now, we are very fortunate that this project is for the people of Laoag so our partners such as Prime Water and INEC (Ilocos Norte Electric Corporation Inc.) have been very supportive to accommodate this project,” he said.
The whole project will comprise a total of 4,600 European-style units spread across 46 five-story buildings, with each floor accommodating 20 units.
Each unit will be 27 square meters worth P1.4 million.
Interested beneficiaries can coordinate with the Pag-IBIG Fund and the City Planning and Development office of the city government.
Qualified Pag-IBIG Fund members are those whose income is not below P15,000 a month to avail of their housing loan to finance their acquisition of a unit under the 4PH program.
One Pag-IBIG Fund member can only avail one 4PH unit and they will undergo the agency’s End User Financing Process.
