STA. FE, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) — The Department of Public Works and Highways has successfully completed improvement works along the national highway in Sante Fe, Nueva Vizcaya.
DPWH 2nd District Engineer Marlyn Inguillo said the project involves the application of Asphalt Overlay and the reinforcement of the carriageway with a thickness of 50 millimeter over 4.43 lane kilometer x 3.35-meter width and the outer lane with a thickness of 50 millimeter over 4.19 lane kilometer x 3.05-meter width, along with necessary corrections.
“The meticulous approach not only strengthens the road but also ensures safety and smooth travel,” she said.
Inguillo said the more than P42.4 million project is part of the national government’s ongoing efforts to enhance transportation infrastructure, ensuring safety and convenience for commuters towards community growth and economic development.
"The rehabilitation and preservation treatment of this road section play a vital role in facilitating economic activities and fostering connectivity within the region," she said.
