QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Heads up all ladies! In celebration of the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024 (Friday), the LRT-2 and MRT-3.

Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera said that the free train ride for women is LRTA’s way of gratitude and recognition for the success and talent of women in their field and community.

Likewise, Transport Assistant Secretary for Railways and MRT-3 Officer-in-Charge Jorjette B. Aquino said that the free train ride is MRT-3’s simple gesture of support to every ‘Juana’ and gratitude for the contributions of women towards development.

The free train ride at LRT-2 and MRT-3 is from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The theme for this year’s Women’s Month celebration is “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!” (LRT2/MRT3/PIA-NCR)
