PIA caps series of Christmas activities with a 'Salo-salo'

QUEZON CITY -- For the first time since the pandemic hit, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) celebrated the Christmas season in-person and hybrid setting to include the Regional Offices in the festive occasion. Together with the Bureau of Communications Services (BCS) and the Freedom of Information - Program Management Office (FOI-PMO), the PIA family just got bigger, hence, the celebrations got merrier on December 16 at the PIA Central Office Lobby in Quezon City.

The full day of the occasion started with a Thanksgiving Mass.

In the afternoon, PIA Director General Ramon Lee Cualoping III delivered his State of the Agency Address reporting the current agency situation and sharing his directives moving forward. It was followed by the awarding ceremony for the PIA Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) 2022 wherein employees with service excellence and significant contribution to the agency were recognized.

The day was capped off with a Christmas Salo-salo and awarding ceremony for the winners of the Deck-The-Wall Contest, PIA iDol, and Tiktok Competition. Employees also went home with a smile as lots of raffle prizes were given during the event.
