In pursuit of continuous infrastructure improvements to efficiently deliver information to the grassroots level, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Regional Office in Cagayan Valley led by Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Director-General and Undersecretary Ramon Lee Cualoping III and Cagayan Third District Representative Joseph ‘Pulsar’ Lasam Lara inaugurates its new building at the Regional Government Center Tugeugarao City, Cagayan on May 3, 2023.

The new development communication hub will house the regional office of the PIA as well as the Provincial Information Center of Cagayan. It also has its own studio, space for the backup server, and female and male dormitories.

PIA Deputy Director-General for Regional Operations and Unified Messaging Asec. Katherine S. De Castro, Director-General for Knowledge Management Deputy Director-General Nicole Managbanag, and PIA Region II employees were also present during the event.

The new PIA Region II Office Building is made possible through the initiative of the Office of the Cagayan Third District Representative Joseph ‘Pulsar’ Lasam Lara and the Department of Public Works and Highways Cagayan Third District Engineering Office.
