The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) kicked off its first pre-SONA caravan dubbed “Nagkaka1sang Bumabangon: The 2023 Pre-SONA Caravan” on May 10, Wednesday. This is expected to happen across the Philippines in preparation for the upcoming second State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in July.

Various national government agencies such as Department of Health, Philippine National Police, Commission on Population and Development, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and Department of Social Welfare and Development highlighted their different programs and projects that aimed to help the Filipino people. It also served as a platform for various national government agencies to report their accomplishments and share with the public where we are so far under the leadership of President Marcos.

Meanwhile, the in-house Puppet Theater of the agency also performed and brought joy to the event.

The PIA Executive Directorate, headed by Director-General Ramon Lee Cualoping III, together with Deputy Director-General Katherine S. De Castro, Deputy Director-General Karl Louie B. Fajardo, Deputy Director-General Nicole J. Managbanag and Deputy Director-General Eileen C. David, graced the event.
