President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. graces the ceremonial turnover of urea fertilizers donated by the People’s Republic of China in a program at the National Food Authority (NFA) warehouse in Malanday, Valenzuela City on June 16, 2023.

The President formally accepts the 20,000 metric tons of urea fertilizer and the Certificate of Handover on Fertilizer Donation between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Government of the People’s Republic of China from Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian.

Worth RMB Yuan 100 million, the amount is part of the grant provided in the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the two Governments on 25 April 2019.
