President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. graces the 160th anniversary of the Philippine Forestry Service coinciding with the Philippine Environment Month and Arbor Day (National Tree Planting Day) at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Central Office in Quezon City on June 26, 2023.

During the occasion, the President plants a Molave Tree at the DENR’s Environmental Heroes Park in celebration of Arbor Day observed every June 25th in the country. The annual observance highlights the importance of planting more trees to help reforest denuded areas in the nation in pursuit of a greener and healthier Philippines.
